 Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus on 23 November in 1992 is an American artist, singer, and actress. She is known for her distinctive, raspy voice, her music incorporates elements from a variety of styles and genres, including pop, country pop hip hop, experimental and rock. Cyrus has scored the highest US Billboard 200 top-five albums in the 21st century of an artist female, with thirteen albums. Her personal life, public image, and performances often caused controversy and garnered a lot of media attention. Cyrus is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus country music performer, made her a star as a teenager when she played the title character on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana (2006-2011). Hannah Montana was a US Billboard 200 number-oneartist, three times top-five soundtrack artist, and the US Billboard Hot 100's number-one single, "He Could Be The One". Cyrus's discography also includes the US number one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013) and the top five albums are Can't Be Tamed (2010) and Younger Now (2017), Plastic Hearts (2020) and the album for free Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015). Cyrus's EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She Is Coming (2019) also debuted in the top five. Plastic Hearts, Cyrus' most loved album, premiered at the top of the Billboard charts for rock. It featured the lead track "Midnight Sky". She also released singles , including "See You Again", 7 Things", "The Climb" The Climb", "Party in the U.S.A." and "Party in The U.S.A.". "Party in the U.S.A." was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Cyrus's accomplishments include being included on the Time 100 in 2008 and 2014, as well as MTV's Best Artist of 2013 Award and inclusion on Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists List for the year 2019. She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus is an actress who has been featured in Bolt (2008) as well as the feature films Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009 and 2010). Cyrus was the coach on The Voice for two seasons and also appeared in "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too", a Netflix episode of Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an active advocate for animal rights.
