Nancy Kovack

Nancy Kovack is a Michigan native who was born within Flint. She attended college at 19 with eight titles and began her career as an tv actress when she was just 15 years old. Her acting profession began on TV in New York, first as the Jackie Gleason character on "Glea Girls" as well as, later and more prominently, in The Dave Garroway Show (1953), Today (1952) as well as Beat the Clock (1950). The stage part opened Hollywood opportunities for Kovack, who signed to Columbia. She later accumulated many programs on TV and garnered Emmy nods in recognition of her role as a guest on Mannix (1967). Kovack is famously the spouse of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. She claims that she was scammed (to the tune $150,000) from Susan McDougal who was a key character in Whitewater. In five appearances on the comedy show Bewitched (1964), three of those appearances were as Darrin Stephens' humorous former girlfriend Sheila Summers. Her father worked as a General Motors executive. Currently resides with her husband Zubin Mehta in Los Angeles, California. In 1954 she graduated from University of Michigan Ann Arbor in Michigan. Popularly remembered for her performance in Episode of the second season of Star Trek, A Private Little War (1968) as the gorgeous indigenous medicine woman Nona. Nancy Nancy Nancy
