Francia Raisa

Raisa was first able to accept part-time acting gigs in her junior year of high school. She started doing print advertisements and appearing in commercials. She was a guest on sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa was Tamy of Lil' Romeo's music video "My Girlfriend". She also appeared in the role of Iyaz for the song video "So Huge". She booked her first leading role a month after she started her final year of high school. The film Bring It On, All or Nothing, Raisa starred as Hayden in the lead role. She also starred as a co-star in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she as Isabel the character of Isabel, as well as The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. She played the role of Adrian Lee in the hit ABC Family drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager that ran from the time it premiered in July 2008, until the end of the series in June the year 2013. As of 2009, Raisa appeared on American Network's series In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short movie directed by David Henrie called Boo that was aired on YouTube. Raisa made an appearance on Christmas Bounty, a movie themed around Christmas. She was in the film with Mike "The Miz", Mizanin. Raisa, August 2012. Between 2018 and 2022, Raisa played a character on the Freeform series Grown-ish. Executive produced by Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. The actress was on the show for just four years, and left the show at the end of season 4. Other credits include Freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, opposite Tyra banks. In May of 2021, Raisa was invited to appear in the The How I Met Your Mother's spin-off series How I Met Your Father It was launched on Hulu on the 18th of January in 2022. The series received a second 20-episode run in February 2022.
