Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated to Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her brother who is older and Evan is her younger brother. At the age of 9 until 16, she began working in the entertainment business via acting. Her acting career began with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors who have received this type of training. Her first acting role came with Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out into Los Angeles. Within the following few months, she got the part in the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge for almost all the stunts and showed herself to be an accomplished actress. Her talent agent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to score a recurring role on Friends.
