Maria Bartiromo has been praised for her work as an American TV journalist. Her television shows are popular and she is the first broadcaster to report live on the New York Stock Exchange. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American film television and theatre actress. Since the age of 27 she has been professional active as a thespian. Her first stage appearance was in the year 1990 when she appeared on Broadway with an Off-Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her debut TV role a year after. In 1992, she received her big break when she was cast in the film Basic Instinct as a minor role. It was in the movie The Firm however that she got the role of leading female character for the very first time, and this was also against famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Most recently, she played in the role as the character of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
