Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks following her very first tryout. In 2003, Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the athletics company Adidas and then enrolled in the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 in her various events in the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
