Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix is the Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and discovered her love to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made the sport, she finished second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for the distance of 200 meters. She won the title in 2007. was able to defend the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three in her various competitions at the Olympics that took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
