Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's talent for athletics was evident right from the first day she enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after the first time she tried, she placed second in the 200 meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix had graduated high school in 2003 signed an athletic contract with Adidas. She later attended college at the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she became the youngest World Champion in the 200m during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 beating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently within the top three in all her competitions in the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
